About Me
My name is Charleigh and i have worked with dogs for 10 years. I own five dogs, Ava my German Shepherd who was a pet blood donor, my two Border Terriers Luna & Nova who compete in agility and not forgetting my two working cockers Rhea and Ara who are also agility dogs! I have owned dogs for the past 10 + years with my first German Shepherd the reason i went into working with dogs in 2016,Sasha was rescued from dogs trust and i learned so much from her. Two years after getting her i decided i had enough of warehouse work and became a dog walker. With her medical needs i wanted to make sure i spent as much time as possible with her, Luna was the dog that started my journey wanting to train dogs, when she was around 7 months old we were thrusted into a world of reactivity.
During this time i learned so much about her and how to help her manage her reactivity. We started agility when she was 13 months of age and we also started trick training. Overtime i started to listen more to Luna, not forcing her to do the things i wanted but do the things she needed. Luna taught me so much about training dogs and i wanted to pursue my passion for training. I started to do numerous courses under different organisations to further my knowledge. I only uses R+ training as i find this is what works best for my own dogs and clients. I am forever looking for the next course to do as you can never stop learning.
